Tottenham ‘have made contact’ with Everton regarding goalkeeper Jordan Pickford according to Football Transfers.

Hugo Lloris’ time at Tottenham is coming to an end with the Frenchman all but set to leave in the summer.

The Tottenham captain had a difficult season with Spurs both with injuries as well as on pitch form which saw him make several costly errors leading directly to goals.

He has already received an offer from Saudi club Al-Hilal which would see him triple his current wages at Spurs.

He has also been linked with a move to his hometown club Nice, where it all began for him. In a recent interview, he refused to rule out a summer move. He also admitted his desire to leave.

Spurs have been linked with a number of goalkeepers since several months including Brentford’s David Raya, Inter Milan’s Andre Onana, and Everton’s Jordan Pickford.

According to Football Transfers, Spurs have made contacted Everton regarding a summer move for star keeper Jordan Pickford. However, it says that they could be ‘put off’ by the Merseyside club’s high asking price.

As per the report, Everton will be seeking a fee in the region of £40m for the England number one.

With Lloris expected to leave the club, a new goalkeeper will be on top of the new manager’s priorities and Pickford could a be great signing. He enjoyed yet another brilliant season with Everton despite their poor form which saw them escape relegation on the last day.
