Report: Tottenham Hotspur see £36-million target as an alternative to Dušan Vlahović

By Eddie Razo -

Tottenham Hotspur wants a striker, and various reports suggest that their top target is ACF Fiorentina’s Dušan Vlahović. However, it seems as though manager Antonio Conte and Managing Director of Football Fabio Paratici don’t want to put all their eggs in that basket.

Spurs want to have a Plan B, and it appears they have found their backup plan if their pursuit of Vlahović fails. According to Eurosport, Tottenham is one of the clubs interested in Real Sociedad’s Alexander Isak.

The 22-year-old caught the eye of many after a quality UEFA Euro 2020 tournament. This season, Isak has carried that success from the summer over to his club team, scoring six goals and registering two assists in 17 matches.

Overall, the forward has made 109 appearances for Real Sociedad, scoring 39 goals since joining the club in 2019.

Isak is under contract with the Spanish side until 2026, so Real Sociedad has all the leverage in any discussions involving the Sweden international. When it comes to a possible fee that Tottenham might have to pay, Transfermarkt places his value at £36-million.

It’s just repeating the same transfer mistakes. Levy is a Pratt as he’s done this too often to pass the blame anymore. Even the Twitteratti see it. That’s saying something regarding the gravity of his balls ups!

A cheap Plan B? Shocker. Greedy despotic little C*** still has his hands on the steering wheel.

39 goals in 109 games isn’t really “top” quality. This guy smacks of another future bench warming wage thief.

Probably a PR stunt to ease people’s expectation of getting Vlahovid, which they bigged up by the way.

Joke – these are all bit part players who wouldn’t survive more than 10 games in PL. We need some hardened eastern europeans who give 100% every game.

Please, Isak isn’t good enough to lace Dusan Vlahovic’s boots.
