Despite Tottenham Hotspur dealing with the Harry Kane transfer saga, the Lonon-based club wants to make one final addition to their squad before the summer window closes next week.
According to Sky Sports News, Tottenham Hotspur has held informal talks with Olympique Lyonnais midfielder Houssem Aouar’s representatives over a potential move this summer.
Tottenham would compete against a fellow Premier League club for Aouar in Arsenal, who have long admired the player. However, one significant hurdle could prevent both these clubs from landing the talented France international.
Despite these talks, Aouar would like a move to a club participating in the UEFA Champions League. If there’s no way for Tottenham to change the mind of the 23-year-old, then it appears they’ll need to look elsewhere for reinforcements to their midfield.
Aouar has made 173 appearances for the French club, where he’s scored 32 goals and registered 32 assists. This production is why Arsenal and Tottenham are hoping to land the midfielder as he’s keen on a move this summer, with the preference being a team that competes in the Champions League.
Anyone gonna be at the new lane tomorrow? Nuff nuff comps floating around the manor.
But a big upgrade from Winksy, Sussoko though, we need players so why not.
Sissoko/Aurier/Ndonkey……….we tried the French experiment
He isnt that good anyway , a huge downgrade from Ericksen.
