Tottenham Hotspur added Richarlison to their forward group this summer. Still, it seems as though manager Antonio Conte isn’t going to stop at the current group they have if a report is accurate.
According to SPORT, Spurs have enquired about signing Barcelona forward Memphis Depay as the north London club tries to add more firepower to its offence.
Furthermore, the Spanish media outlet adds that the 28-year-old is on the transfer market with minutes at the Nou Camp not guaranteed next season and that Spurs may be a better opinion and Juventus has also been mentioned.
Depay has one more year on his deal with the La Liga side and is attracting interest from the Premier League.
Spurs aren’t alone with their connection to the player, as north London rivals Arsenal are reportedly interested. The Netherlands international is coming off a season where he scored 12 goals but saw his role at the Spanish side decrease upon the arrival of Xavi Hernandez as manager.
Barcelona is ready to accept a bid in the region of £17 million for Depay, who wants to play in the Champions League this coming season.
