Tottenham Hotspur could be working these final days of the January transfer window to offload players that manager Antonio Conte doesn’t see fit for his project.

According to Portuguese football journalist Pedro Almeida, Fiorentina is interested in midfielder Giovani Lo Celso. Almeida adds that the Serie A club wants a loan deal for the Argentine; as a result, the pursuit for the 25-year-old is complicated.

Lo Celso has made 19 appearances for Tottenham this season, scoring one goal and registering two assists. The Argentine has only started two of his nine appearances in Premier League competition and is averaging 28 minutes per game.

As a result, it’s not out of the realm of possibility that the north London could decide to part ways with Lo Celso if Fiorentina presents an offer for him that Spurs feel is justifiable.

Tanguy Ndombele and Dele Alli appear to be on the way out, and Lo Celso could join them.

Also, the question of whether it is a straightforward loan, or a loan with an obligation or right to buy.

Why is it complicated? Aren’t we after loaning their player Acrobat? How about we loan each other’s player then each club pays the respective wages. Simples.

There is loan fee like a mini transfer fee and percentage of wages like we part payed bales wage last year.
The problem is Spurs make any deal more complicated in the media as they don’t get them over the line.

I don’t get how a loan deal can be complicated. You’re not buying the player so you just have to pay his wages…
