Report reveals how much Daniel Levy makes per year

The report from Football Insider indicates that Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy is expected to maintain his position as the highest-paid director in the Premier League for the upcoming season, earning over £3 million per year.

This salary makes him the highest-paid director among all club directors in the league.

While Daniel Levy has been the chairman of Tottenham Hotspur since 2001, making him the longest-serving chairman in the top flight, he has been a polarizing figure among Tottenham fans.

Some supporters have criticized his tough negotiating style and perceived frugality in the transfer market, especially during a period when the club has not won a major trophy since 2008 and questions linger about the future of star player Harry Kane.

One of Levy’s notable achievements during his tenure as chairman was overseeing the construction of the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, a state-of-the-art facility that opened in April 2019 and is considered one of the most modern football stadiums in the world.

Despite his long service and contributions to the club, some Tottenham fans have expressed frustration with Levy’s approach to spending and financial management and the club’s lack of progress under his leadership.

Such sentiments were displayed through banners and chants during matches last season.

TBH Says: Daniel Levy’s reign at Spurs has undoubtedly brought stability, but any turbulence is a long way off in the rearview mirror these days. What needs improving is the buying of players. Too many punts that managers didn’t ask for, plus far too many players who ended up having to be ‘hidden’ on loan have dogged the money that has been spent.

ENIC needs to raise their game, perhaps a new CEO would do the job? Daniel keeps his shares but lets someone who knows what they’re doing have a go, maybe?

Who knows, he might enjoy not trending on Twitter…
