Tottenham are pushing hard to sign Manchester City winger Savinho, with the 22-year-old Brazilian having agreed personal terms on a move to N17, according to journalist Nicolò Schira.
Schira reported on X that Savinho has given his availability to THFC and agreed in principle to a contract running until 2031 with an option for a further year. Tottenham, according to Schira, are ready to pay €80m (£68m) to Manchester City to get the deal done. That figure is slightly above the £65m the Daily Mail had previously reported as the basis for the clubs’ discussions, suggesting negotiations have moved rather than stalled.

Schira’s post was unambiguous: Tottenham are pushing, Savinho is willing, and the fee is on the table. The personal terms element is significant – players don’t typically agree contract details without a reasonable expectation that the clubs will follow. As reported previously, Savinho had already emerged as Spurs’ dominant left-wing target, and this is the clearest sign yet that progress is real rather than speculative.
Fabrizio Romano has added one complication: Manchester City want to bring in a replacement winger before sanctioning the sale. That is the kind of holdup that could drag on for a fortnight or dissolve overnight depending on City’s own recruitment timeline. Savinho, for his part, is understood to be prioritising a move to Spurs and De Zerbi’s project over other options.
