By Bruce Grove -

Tottenham is still very interested in signing Fenerbahce’s Vedat Muriqi this summer, according to reports.

The Lilywhites are looking to land a backup striker to Harry Kane when the transfer window opens.

Several strikers have been linked with a move to Jose Mourinho’s side when the transfer window opens and links to Muriqi is just not going away.

Sabah, as cited by Sportwitness, is claiming that the Turkish side is still keen on selling the Kosovan international when the transfer window reopens.

It claims that Spurs isn’t the only team looking to sign him, with Napoli and Lazio also monitoring him ahead of a potential transfer.

Sportwitness also claims the Turkish side is banking on selling Muriqi before they can make any moves in the transfer market, and it adds that Tottenham is still very interested in signing him.

Spurs have been focused on finishing this season inside a European place ahead of their final game of the Premier League season.

Victor Osimhen is another striker that Mourinho has targeted to share the goalscoring burden with Kane, but the Nigerian seem to be on his way to Napoli, according to Goal.com

Muriqi has scored 15 league goals in 32 games this season, and the report from Sportwitness claims that he is valued at €20 million.
