Depth in the attacking group is one area that Tottenham Hotspur will be keen on adding, especially if they clinch UEFA Champions League football next season. Relying on Harry Kane and Son Heung-min will be too much with games during the middle of the week.
Spurs added Dejan Kulusevski this past January, but the north London side wants to continue improving the depth behind their two-star players on attack. With the summer transfer window opening in a little over a month, many names are surfacing.
La Gazzetta dello Sport’s Alfredo Pedullà reports that the latest forward linked to Tottenham is AS Roma Henrikh Mkhitaryan, a versatile player who can play out on the wing and as an attacking midfielder since these are positions Spurs would like an upgrade at this summer.
The Armenia international’s contract expires next month, and the Italian club wants to extend him, but there are a couple of clubs in Serie A linked to the 33-year-old. Joining Spurs in this pursuit is fellow Premier League club Aston Villa and Serie A sides Inter Milan and Napoli.
In 45 appearances, Mkhitaryan has scored five goals while recording nine assists. Furthermore, with Arsenal ties, it will be interesting to see if it hampers their pursuit of the veteran player.
I think that’s the point, isn’t it? This is not a decision by committee operation. People slating writers isn’t f**king on.
Well Joe, I thought there are more worthwhile pieces of media trivia around, that’s what I’m saying, this one is just fairy tale, however I shall refrain from commenting on similar in future.
You’re taking the Mkh! This piece of absurdly implausible tripe is really scraping the bottom of the transfer gossip barrel! The Man U and Arsewipe cast off, couldn’t hack the Premier League in his prime, let alone now that he is well past it. In fact I would suggest we might have more interest in Leandro Damiao than Mkhitaryan! … lol
Dear Mike,
It baffles me, that you think for even a nanosecond that I would be keen to get ANYONE’S feedback on the content here.
And that’s the polite version.
Regards,
Joe Goebbels.
There is far too much of just filling in space on here which seems to be the general idea but it’s with nonsensical tripe, how these are chosen to be of interest to us is baffling.
More cr*ap, A Utd and Woolwich reject? No thanks, I’d prefer to take Eriksen back, if we’re bringing in older players in that position.
No thanks,he can’t hack the PL.
