GOLLINI from the Latin; to witness something going in again. Still no clean sheet. Let us pray that the club announces an extension deal for Hugo Lloris…
DOHERTY had a substandard passing accuracy percentage (beneath 90%).
TANGANGA to be blunt, another less than reassuring performance. Increasingly a worry.
RODON best of a bad bunch. I maintain the boy needs to be played every week. Joe needs to go in the summer.
DAVIES simply isn’t captain material.
SESSEGNON frankly unreliable. This was a League One side…
TANGUY, unremarkable, does not look like a man pushing for a first-team spot. Looks like someone who was prepared to help us out – a bit.
WINKS was reliable and, of course, the game-changer. This was a League One side…
LO CELSO another one that did not look like a man pushing for a first-team spot. Dreadful, utterly unconvincing free kicks.
DELE ALLI – innocuous
BRYAN was underwhelming, if we’re honest with each other, this was a League One side…
MOURA was needed to beat a League One side…
KANE was needed to beat a League One side…
Full match summary etc to follow…
Very Good Point.
And lo celso is an Argentine full international.
We always buy players to improve the squad ,never buy players to improve every position of the first 11. That is the difference between Spurs and the top 4
That produced Tanganga
I can’t believe Gil is a Spanish full international.
We’ll have our hands full with Brighton.
And that’s not counting their contracts add another sixty million to the £100 million getting p*ssed up against the wall.
Is anyone that surprised? These performances are similar to those under Mourinho…. I cant see Conte tolerating this for much longer…
Perfectly put.
Gil would benefit from 6 months on loan in the championship.
Basically half the squad need to go, and half the first team need to become “the squad”.
Then we might start looking alright on a regular basis – circe 2024 if we’re lucky.
You left out our World renowned academy.
A long line of punts all totally unprepared for the Premier League generally held to be the best in the world.
You couldn’t make this stuff up.
No accountability. There’s a saying a player coached team is better than a coach coach teamed.
The players demand more of each other. But not our lot.
It’s worrying where goals will come from.
I just checked our games in Jan.and Feb. and it’s worrying where points will come from.
Not so much of a loss with Dele. More the giving up on Levy’s plans for a massive profit on him. He only cost around 6m.
Modric was tough as nails.
It’s painfully obvious what’s wrong at Spurs, but I believe things will get worse before, if, they get better. We must get rid, at a huge loss more than likely, NDombele and Dele. Take it on the Chin and move on. PS, Don’t tell Levy.
My takeaway from this crime against humanity is that I just feel sorry for Harry having to share the pitch with most of this lot and feel he deserves better.
This was an FA cup game. The opposition are only ever likely to play us or any PL team in said comp if they get lucky.
Today, was, for those players their cup final. They, like Kidderminster, Cambridge and B’wood up their game. They have absolutely nothing to lose and everything to gain.
Spurs on the other hand, have massive problems. Mental fragility, arrogance from some. And some who just need to leave the club.
There’s not a game coming up that doesn’t strike fear into right thinking fans as to what gets dished up in the disguise of a football team on top of their game.
Tanganga just doesnt have the basics of defending. No idea how to stay goalside of his man and always seems to get turned the wrong way. Journeyman academy player where they dont seem to give players experience of real competition. Why did none of his team mates give him a bollocking for another basic error.
Given the money we would save in wages and what he cost I would give Alli away..As for NDembele Levy is sitting there with the same clenched arse that saw him scared to let Alli go..worried that he will be decent elsewhere…pathetic. ..NDembele is rubbish he was rubbish when we bought him his previous coaches had documented his faults. Anyone can piss in Daniels ear and he will part with the clubs cash…then again don’t think he gives a toss.
That is a very good question!
He pumps the bellows which pump the smoke..
It is quite scary how bad are second string are. I cannot see how N’Dombele and Alli can stay at the club although they might not go in January. The problem as always is that Levy cannot bear to take a loss on a player. He had a chance to loan Alli to PSG but wouldn’t take it and the problem is N’Dombele’s wages. Nobody is going to pay this lazy tub of lard £200,000 per week. He is going to turn out to be one of our worst ever signings which takes some some doing, considering the abysmal recruitment record of our micro managing, lisping, diminutive poisoned dwarf who remains in charge of football matters at our club. Sadly, it looks as if Gil will not make the grade as well. Don Paratici strikes again.
Modric was also very strong. I can’t remember who, but one of his Spurs team mates commented on how thick and strong his legs were.
Dele has totally lost his way, however, he only cost the club 6m or something (plus wages). Dumb-bellend is the club’s record signing on close to Kane’s salary, what an absolute joke. How does Hitchen remain employed?
Personally I don’t think Gill has the required build to be successful in our league. People will point to Modric but he was more of a passer than a player that dribbled and tried to beat people. I hope I’m wrong.
Shocking. We’ve always had nothing behind the first team but these are the worse reserves I can remember in a long while. It’s also a reflection on Levy that our reserves now include N’Dombele and Lo Celso for a combined cost of around £100m. What awful recruitment.
Yes indeed, that dressing room would have been where I’d like to have been.
The one defence that could be made for Gill as compared with Ndombele, is that he’s a young player whose only been at the club a short time and was played out of position. I can’t think of a single excuse for the half-arsed performance from Ndombele and can’t even be bothered to think about the waste of space that is Dele.
Another example of how little depth we have. If Conte’s first eleven shows the need for several quality additions, this second string shows the true scale of the problems
Just watching the goals again, it was quite canny the way Kane ran across the field in front of their number 4, so that he couldn’t get near Moura.
Love to know what home truths were said at half time. Also should players stop training with the 1st if Conte doesn’t want them and they’ve an attitude?
