Paul Robinson is worried about the fact that Tanguy Ndombele rarely finishes 90 minutes for Tottenham.
The Frenchman joined Spurs before the start of last season and he struggled to make any impression in his first campaign at the club.
He has been one of the most improved players at the club this season after he took Jose Mourinho’s demands on board.
He has been an ever-present for the club in the league, however, he has finished the whole match just twice since he moved to Tottenham.
The former Lyon man is usually one of the most energetic players on the pitch for Spurs, but it seems that he easily gets tired and that is the reason why Mourinho almost always brings him off in the second half.
Robinson was speaking with Football Insider recently and he said that although Spurs have a big squad that they can use, it is concerning that their record signing cannot complete games.
He said: “Ndombele has still only completed two Premier League games since he arrived at Spurs.
“He is the club’s record signing but he has only completed two league matches. Yes, Spurs have a great squad but it is concerning.
“He has had his critics over the past year but he is coming into his own now.
“This is the time now where Ndombele and others need to step up. The festive period is going to be a test for Spurs and if they can get to the new year there or thereabouts then they have got a real chance of winning the league this year.”
Paul ‘Barrel Roll’ Robinson, same here.
The fitness levels of Ndombele is going to be tested over the next period of games and he will not finish a single game imo, if he does I doubt he would be available to start three days after.
Paul Robinson use to worry me alot more😆😆
