Kevin Campbell has tipped Dele Alli to make a move away from Tottenham in the January transfer window if he continues to be sidelined by Jose Mourinho.
The Englishman remains one of the most talented players to have played for Tottenham, but this season has seen him struggle with his form.
He was one of the most effective players at the club in the first few months of Mourinho’s reign, but his form has since tailed off and he is no longer considered an important member of the current Tottenham team.
He has played less than 70 minutes of Premier League football combined this season and as he continues to be kept on the fringes, Campbell thinks that he will leave the club.
He was speaking to Football Insider recently and he admitted that Alli is simply too good to not be playing and that he will likely leave Spurs to relaunch his career if things remain the same.
Asked by Football Insider what the future may hold for Alli, Campbell said:
“There is talk of PSG and that might suit him. Link up with Neymar and Mbappe there.
“I truly believe if he doesn’t get game time for Spurs between now and January, he’ll go out on loan and it’s up to him after that.
“He’s a good player, we know he can score, he’s been an England player for years and all of sudden he falls off a cliff.
“We’ve seen it happen with Mourinho before, there’s always one and Dele Alli is the one who has fallen down the pecking order.
“He’s got to get himself sorted and get a club. He’ll get himself sorted because he’s talented.”
