Pundit identifies one problem Paratici might already have at Tottenham

By Bruce Grove -

Alan Hutton has hinted that Fabio Paratici might have some problems at Tottenham if he doesn’t get on with their next manager.

The Italian football administrator is set to become Tottenham’s director of football after reaching an agreement with the Lilywhites.

Spurs had been in talks with him alongside Antonio Conte, whom he worked well with during their time at Juventus.

Talks between Conte and Spurs broke down, but they still reached an agreement with Paratici.

Hutton says it would have been amazing if Spurs paired Conte and Paratici.

However, now that they have failed in bringing the former Chelsea boss back to England, Paratici might struggle.

He says he would have a great time doing his job at Spurs if he develops a good working relationship with their next manager, otherwise, there would be backroom problems at the club.

Hutton told Football Insider: “It could be good. I thought it was a good fit with Conte coming from Italy as well.

“They’ll probably know each other and it would have worked well.

“Of course, they still haven’t brought a manager in.

“If they bring someone that doesn’t necessarily like working with that sporting director, you’ve already got a problem before you’ve even started.”

Spurs are already reportedly in advanced talks to make Paulo Fonseca their next manager, but nothing is certain yet.

Exactly, he obviously is a useless coach despite being a brilliant defender. Not uncommon.

I can identify one problem straight away; Daniel is his boss. Problems don’t get much worse than that. I wonder if he is getting that “trial by dictator” feeling yet?

Ledz the king needs to work with a new bunch. Not these w@nk€ez who are set in their ways. Ie dier Davies Sanchez ect. FCK them out. Also winks (the main trouble maker) who thinks he is Tottenham.

Ledley King is the Defensive Coach at Tottenham… and the defense is currently a shambles.

The guys on borrowed time do you think he cares about money any more and no way he cares about fans. Levy, now he is just getting started. Probably what they talked about on Lewis boat when they met.

I also think they have the problem that is ledley king to sort after the next muppet sorry manager is installed. It concerns me that ledley is making a case for dier to be at the euros with England. I know he is promoting a club colleague however dier is not a leader not a good defender and is already in his best position for the championship. Ledley I fear all the nights at the night clubs have clouded your vision. Dier show follow foyth, winks, sissoko and aurier along with lamela, moura, Sanchez,Toby, alli and ccv. That should bring in along with the Edwards money about £150 ish million. Then with kane leaving that would add another £125 million no matter what levy says giving the new dof by the time levy deducts cuts for losses about 100 million.

It won’t be a case of not getting on with a manager…..it will be not getting on with the chairman!!

I cannot see Levy taking a backseat at all, he will ultimately have final say on everything and piss off the sport director, must like he has with the fans and previous managers.

What I don’t get is that Joe Lewis is valued at 4.4 billion, now I don’t know how much of that is ready cash or just his assets, but if I was in his position and had that much financial clout I would throw 500 million into the pot and have a good go of winning things, which in turn would get us fans back onside and ultimately top up his wealth.
