Premier League Winner Demari Gray To Spurs?

By The Boy -

The Sun believes that Leicester City’s Demari Gray is a player of interest to Tottenham Hotspur. It has to be said from the very start, that this smacks either of complete fabrication or agent talk. I note that this window has given birth to a good many ‘ITK’ accounts on social media and whilst there is always a surfeit of gossip in José Mourinho’s wake, and I would suggest there is as much to this inference as there was to that Jessie Lingard business.

Demari Gray’s heat map

Looking at Gray, we see a player that we simply do not need, especially in light of Gareth Bale’s recent return! Gary would be inexpensive, if Transfermarkt‘s valuation of a few shillings over £13million is accurate.

Surely the gaffer and Daniel Levy have bigger fish to fry than the pursuit of this fading Leicester City star?

The Athletic is provides the source article, but it is of note that the piece says no formal offer has been made. I bet it hasn’t.

I think Alli peaked at the age of twenty one, read today’s piece in the Guardian. He has bulked up a lot in the gym due to numerous hamstring tears and is not the same athletic mover. You are not comparing like with like between Winks and Alli. I just cannot understand why Winks is so reluctant to play the ball forward rather than sideways. He should be instructed to play an entire practice match without making a sideways or backwards pass!

Maureen said he’s staying.. I know he had a bad season compared to his previous lofty heights, but I’m hoping he can kick on now.. Would rather get shot of Winks in an ideal world..

His little black box has reportedly alighted on Delli Alli. Monaco would suit him, methinks.

I like him. He gets to bylines and puts in decent ones. He’d shine at Tottenham. Fans would love him quickly.

We need an old fashioned 9 to play the “style” Jose wants. So this doesn’t fit. End of.

If Grealish is valued at £75M, then I would say Brookes is worth
£40m – £50m.

Strapped for time, cutting straight to the chase whilst the kid has got talent and possesses silky tricks he blows hot and cold. Lets not be delusional, frankly if he was that good he would be in the starting line up every week, Not for me. The one for me is the excellent Harvey Barnes. Now you are talking!

He’s not a fading star ,he never achieved stardom. He has failed to kick on at Leicester. As Mickey says below we have enough bang average players already,we don’t need more.
Brookes would be good.

Great on the ball. Forward ball mover. Got a free kick in him. Can play/arrive up front. English. I’d take him for the right money. (Swap with winks). He’s a footballer with a loada handy tricks. Seen him glide past man with ease.

March 2020 debt on transfers was £81m .They made good profit on Mings,Ake,Wilson and Mousset. They still have King who came on a free and Brooks who only cost £10m plus parachute payments.

As a Leicester fan, I’d be delighted if Spurs shelled out over £10m for Gray. That tells you all you need to know 🙂

Their Russian owner has pumped a lot of money into Bournemouth. Do you know how much he is owed in loans and what their bank debt is?

Did you know that only last summer Real Madrid rejected a 100 mil offer for Bale from an ‘unnamed premier leage club’.. The red devils I expect….. Also just found out Paul Mitchell and his little black box are doing their stuff at Monaco. Will be interesting to see how they get on.

Bournemouth don’t need to sell him ,now they’ve got £40m for Ake and £20m for Wilson. They would be looking near £40m?

He can’t get in the Leicester team because he is so inconsistent. We don’t need him and if we were going to buy another wide man, let’s buy David Brooks who has considerable potential.

We don’t need a Leicester reject. If we’re now showing some ambition these are not the sort of players we need. Besides he’s not a target man striker which is what Mou wants. We’ve got enough bang average players in the squad already.

Surely this is exactly what your ‘source close to the club’ is there for. Can’t you just give him a call to find out whether we have put in a bid
