Carlo Ancelotti is eyeing a January swoop for Dele Alli, Mirror Football claims.
The Englishman has been struggling to get game time at Tottenham this season with Jose Mourinho playing other players ahead of him.
He started Tottenham’s first league game against Everton, but he was removed at half time and that has been his only league start so far.
He was the subject of transfer interest from PSG in the last transfer window, but Tottenham rejected three loan bids from the French side.
The 24-year-old has also been out of the England set-up and the report says that he worries about not being picked for the Euros next year.
Harry Winks is in a similar position to Alli at the club and the Toffees are also considering a move for him.
Everton started the season in fine form and they beat Chelsea 1-0 in the Premier League at the weekend.
They signed Allan in the last transfer window, but it seems that Ancelotti wants another body in his midfield.
PSG is expected to rival Everton for Alli and Spurs might prefer to send him out of England than to strengthen a direct rival.

He already said Everton weren’t interested, I thought.
Can’t see Levy selling Dele to Everton.
In fact, I’m not sure what Levy will be thinking about the likes of Dele, Winks, Sanchez and even the 250k per week Bale’s lack of involvement in first term affairs right now. What’s supposed to do with them? Sell them to rival clubs?
I’d replace Bergy with a revitalised Alli for the clash of the titans on Wednesday!
Confronted with their inspired keeper IMO Palace deserved a share of the spoils.
