Premier League manager has no interest in the Tottenham job claims report

By Bruce Grove -

Marcelo Bielsa has no interest in becoming the next Tottenham manager and is the latest high-profile name to reject a move to the Lilywhites.

Spurs are in the market to name a replacement for Jose Mourinho and it seems that their preferred targets will continue to elude them.

The Lilywhites thought they finally found their championship-winning manager when they made Mourinho their last boss, but the Portuguese didn’t help them to win any trophy.

He led them to the final of the Carabao Cup, however, they fired him before the clash with Manchester City.

The club is now looking for his replacement and one wonders what type of manager will finally help Spurs’ get their hands on a trophy.

Bielsa has proven to be a hit since he moved to England three seasons ago.

He helped Leeds gain promotion to the Premier League at the second time of asking and they have been one of the best newly promoted teams in the competition this season.

He is one man who can make Spurs play attractive football and possibly win trophies as well, however, Spurs seem to have failed in their pursuit of his signature.

The Telegraph says he is signing a new Leeds deal soon and he has no interest whatsoever in jumping ship and becoming the latest Tottenham boss.

Someone will take the job. It would be funny if it was supremely obvious that he, whoever it was, was the only candidate who would take it. Ryan Mason, for instance. Anything for a bit of egg on the face.
Hard to give a fuk these days.

“He (Mourinho) led them to the final of the Carabao Cup”.
That is true. Hardly a massive achievement though. Only played three matches. Brentford, Stoke and beat Frank’s Chelsea on penalties. A glorious march to Wembley….

‘Marcelo Bielsa has no interest in becoming the next Tottenham manager’.

Of course not. Who would? Max Wall?

He’s not representative of most Spurs fans these days, the majority of us are with you. I also follow Leeds Utd (just to keep my sanity), and believe me Spurs are a car crash compared to that purring Jaguar right now. Once Leeds become a fully established PL side then Bielsa will know he’s made the right decision.
Who in their right minds wants to work for Levy?

Name calling. See. They always start it. I’ll use you as don’t take the bait practice and rise above. Bit early for a spliff though. Have a pleasant evening

I think you will find the guy said prospects, not league position. When Kane deserts the ship you will be lucky to keep PL status next season. Enjoy your slide

His loss? The level of delusion Spurs fans is beyond belief. He was never going to walk away from Leeds. The man has honour and integrity. And he certainly isn’t stupid. Now go to a corner, give yer head a wobble and stop smoking whatever it is you are on. Muppet

His loss? Haha. Why would Bielsa move to a team with lesser prospects than his current team ?

Yeah well, his loss. I like him though. As I’ve said before when poch was sacked he was the man I was hoping for.
