Fans Singing About Daniel Levy’s Passing Hits A Sour Note As Crowds Gather Outside Shut Stadium| video

By The Boy -

The fan protest is underway and as I’ve hopefully made clear – it will not achieve anything of tangible worth. Nothing. In truth, the reality is this demonstration is largely an exercise in leg stretching for those who have been banged up under house arrest by COVID-19 for some considerable time.

Here’s a live stream for those wanting to embrace the magic of civil disorder and casual daytime drinking.

Regrettably, those outside this shut business have missed the boat. The time to protest was several years ago before The Lane was demolished. Hey, maybe the Spurs shop will do a bit more business thanks to these hardcore activists…

Ha ha, not heard them called gathers for years man.. I’m tempted to turn up in a Donald Trump suit and mask, running round with a giant sign ‘Make Spurs great again’

Aye the stripping of assets was shocking. Multiple clubs, in notorious brutal fashion… Unfortunately alot of rich people get there by ill means.. The Shieks and the Russian have done worse.

UFC and boxing are already drawing in thousands in stadiums and indoor arenas around the world. Canelo and Saunders broke a boxing record with 73 odd thousand through the gate. Expect fans back soon after our lockdowns lifted.

I don’t get your point. They’ve just won a trophy and stand a good chance of top 4. So, they had a bad result against Newcastle, so did Man city at home to Leicester earlier this season. You can’t deny they’re In a better place than Spurs and that is primarily because of poor leadership at Spurs.

Trouble is, poor old Mr Josif of Archway Sheet Metal died as a result of the stress of the court cases and suspicious fire at his premises…

This same Leicester squad got turned over by Newcastle a week ago. They got overtaken by West Ham, and they got knocked out of Europa by Slavia Praha. There is nothing special about them.

Spurs had the same benefit of a poor league this season. They had similar results in similar league matches and were also knocked out in shameful fashion by an inferior Europa contender.

Unfortunately, these Spurs players could not overcome their own weak hearts and minds. They would not get out of their own way.

This FA cup final was just a stark reminder of all of that. Hard to stomach.

Leicester win the FA Cup. A well run club from top to bottom, with high morale. Compare and contrast to THFC.

Yep. Blame London regeneration on tottenham Hotspur football club. Why not blame the soon to be no longer ridley market Dalston on us too. The devolopers are raping london. Wanna proper moan re tottenham n15 n17? Try david lammy who can be found watching his son at every broadwater farm FC home games.

On a different subject, would very much like to see Leicester give Chelsea a bloody nose later today. Remember how in 2016 prior to our infamous 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge, Chelsea players went around for about a week beforehand telling everyone they wanted to ensure Leicester won the title, thus stoking the fire for the subsequently fiery encounter between us, for which, in my view, Chelsea by their provocative behaviour should also have been held to account. Would love it now – as a kind of karma – if Chelsea’s little darlings that night, the Foxes, could turn the tables on them now.

With Liverpool’s friendly run in, I imagine the losers today will probably go on to miss out on CL qualification as well. Alas, history suggests that club will probably be Leicester.

Impossible to judge really but if I had to guess, I’d say the lads with placards were the proper supporters but even that might be a disguise.

As with the ManUre protests , I strongly believe Sky Sports are manipulating these protests , because the European Super League or anything akin to it poses a huge threat to their future hold on football coverage , yes it’s true they don’t show live CL or EL games, however if bigger clubs were to platform coverage of their own product, what would prevent it happening in the Premier League in the future.

Yep. Agent provocateur. I believe this whole protest is ENIC led controlled opposition through the THST.
Then you chuck in the ANTIFA style trouble makers to give it negative press so it can used for more police and security measures etc

Some of them are not Tottenham or even football fans, they are people who need to have the security of a crowd & want to antagonize the Police. They wouldn’t do it if they were on their own. These ‘events’ take 10 minutes to organise nowadays, although this was announced a couple of weeks ago. If you rounded them up, I dont suppose many of them will be season ticket holders – some won’t even know why they are there. In my opinion, season ticket holders have more right to complain than people like me who can’t afford the time involved or the cost & just watch the highlights.

There is literally no pleasure in being proved right either. Pretty heartbreaking actually. Remember researching what they did to other clubs after reading something online. Nothing about their business model involves on field success.

As the article states though, the time for meaningful protest was when planning to demolish our history and screw over small local businesses. Our displeasure is water off a ducks back for Desperate Dan.

My mate was at the front of the Sugar Out movement but I wasn’t that bothered.
After 20 years I have had enough of this leech who thinks he can run a football club.
Don’t forget who owns all the splendid real estate and who will take the coin when they sell it.
Clue: It won’t be Tottenham Hotspur Football Club

Vaccinated fans will be allowed in again soon I reckon. I wouldn’t mind wearing a mask if I wasn’t allowed in without one. Small price to pay to watch the mighty Tottenham

I can’t see grounds being full again. Or for a long time and not in the same capacity, ie everyone gagged by masks. It’s all been taken as the masses slept.

You can turn the outside of grounds into a fortress as United have done but it will be interesting especially at United when the grounds are full.

What’s next, barring fans for wearing a green and yellow scarf in United’s case or for singing ENIC out?

I’m surprised that the Glazers haven’t either banned Gary Neville from Old Trafford or put pressure on Sky. Plenty of room for more PR disasters by the big six owners.

Rent-a-riot are coming but thankfully there will be a huge Police presence at all games now. This isn’t about protesting against the owners anymore but if someone can explain to me how lobbing bricks & other stuff at the Police during these demonstrations helps, I’d like to hear it.
