Arsenal legend, Ian Wright admits he is jealous of Spurs because of Antonio Conte.
Arsenal had the chance to sack Mikel Arteta and replace him with the Italian, but they kept faith with the Spaniard.
Wright knows Conte is much more accomplished than the inexperienced Arteta and appears to be worried Spurs would achieve more under the Italian than Arsenal would under Arteta.
He said on the Kelly & Wrighty Show:
‘Not saying that our manager ain’t doing his stuff, but jealous and pleased for them really. He is a top-drawer manager,’

There are a few things that delight a Tottenham fan more than seeing Arsenal showing fear, well, their former players and fans..
Even when we underperformed last season, we finished above them on the league table.
Conte will hopefully make sure that we have a better season than them and Wright probably knows this.
Spurs now has one of the best managers in the Premier League and it is up to the players to heed his instructions and deliver their best performances on the pitch.
Arsenal should worry because we have a better squad and these players have longed for an accomplished manager like Conte.
With the club also willing to splash the cash on new players now, we should be in for one of the best managerial eras in a long time.
Spurs fans must grow up and stop making Arsenal a club that was in decline in a decade as a European Champions league winner and world beaters. Spurs fans must aim and compete the top teams in the PL the likes of Man City, Liverpool etc. otherwise you are not better than Levy with mindset of mediocrity why on earth you talk, compete and waste your thinking a team you were finishing above them best part of last 5-6 years even when we were crap say last year, Fans kept on asking Enic/ Levy to change to aim high why the fans can’t change makes no sense. Some of Spurs fans must change and stop this thinking this Arsenal crap living rent free in their minds once and for all cheers.

but we are basing that on Nuno ball which wasnt working so onwards & upwards.
It’s a tough one.. They have some good young players coming through now. They have seemingly sorted their academy out which bodes well for their future. I can only see them getting better over the next few years.. Unfortunately.
I dont think we do have a better squad than the gooners… they have strikers who want to be there & a fluent midfield….at least their team has energy…
I’ll believe the cash is being spent when I see it being spent properly.
