Tottenham’s fans have praised Hugo Lloris after he helped France to reach the final of the Nations League.
The Spurs captain was on from the start as the French national team reached the final of the competition by beating Belgium.
The Belgians had raced to a 2-0 lead, but France came back and won the match 3-2.
It was a thrilling match and Lloris proved his worth with at least one brilliant save.
The Lilywhites celebrated their goalkeeper with a post on Twitter and a number of fans responded in the comments with praise for him as he nears winning another trophy with his national team.
Lloris has long been a favourite with the Spurs fans though he is now getting on in years and there is talk of a replacement, however, these fans do not seem too keen on seeing the back of the Frenchman anytime soon.
Please, please, please, keep this man at Tottenham until the day he hangs them up.

Best keeper we have ever had. And I am , shall we say, "aging"

That save was incredible. My captain. Nuno better get us to keep playing like we did vs Villa. Cause it tore my heart to pieces to see Hugo concede 9 goals to rivals… back to back to back.

France are heading to the UEFA Nations League final largely because of Hugo.

He made some wonderful saves. Sorry for Jan and Toby, but go Hugo!

Keep him but make an outfield player Captain please.
Hugo is better than any of the keepers that get mentioned as his replacement….
Question is will Bryan Gil slot the winner against his club captain, Lloris. Gil now involved in two major finals in a few weeks – Olympics and UEFA Nations.
