Daniel Levy’s decision to furlough non-playing staff has caused a fair amount of disdain within the fanbase and the move was even reported – in the most unflattering manner – by the New York Times.
It looks like ENIC has painted themselves into a corner somewhat with a good many fans and this post was hit with numerous dissenting voices.

Liverpool Football Club recently announced a pre-tax profit of £42m for 2018-19. They also opted to furlough their staff… until a fierce backlash from fans prompted them to scrap the idea.
