“Derision and anger” Levy’s Latest PR Bungle Now Featured In The New York Times

By The Boy -

This blog has made the point repeatedly over the years, that ENIC appear incapable of proficiently handling their own media. One could imagine that if it were announced by the club that all small kids attending a game would get a free lollipop, that ENIC would still manage to kill it. Where there should have been smiling faces, there would be instead a turgid queue because parents were asked to sign a 3-page waiver indemnifying Spurs against allergic reactions, choking hazards and such.

For a business so protective about its brand, especially in respect of our American friends – whose NFL holds the magic key that will unlock the potential of the new stadium -, this summary of recent COVID-19 reaction at THFC in the New York Times is nothing shy of brutal.

Whatever made Mr. Levy possibly believe that asking the state to pay his non-playing staff would ever go down well?

It’s this entire line about football’s role and responsibilities in public life that inspired my earlier piece today. Who knew that The Boy Hotspur blog and The New York Times were Marxist hotbeds?! You live and learn.

The New York Times also refers to the #PlayerTogether initiative as a device designed to “put an end to the public backlash”. A point that I have contended in recent days that has only served to achieve the exact opposite.

The bottom line (for now) is that nobody is coming out of this smelling of roses.

Spot on. I think it’s time for spurs fans to unite and get rid of Levy and co with a concerted effort to oust him once the season restarts

Once again Levy has shot himself in the foot and at the same time let down all supporters who were proud of Spurs.
Clearly it’s all about money so if he has any pride at all let his God Father sell the club to someone whom has Tottenham Hotspur’s real interest at heart.
Most fans would like to see a change for the good now.
