Tottenham Hotspur have made enquiries over the availability of Bayern Munich defender Jerome Boateng, according to Bleacher Report.
Sky Sports reported yesterday that Arsenal may make a move for the 31-year-old German, who could be available for £12.8m (€15m) this winter.
However, Dean Jones of Bleacher Report understands that Spurs have also shown an interest in Boateng, along with top bargain-hunters Juventus.

Twitter responses can be so immediate and extreme that they do not always capture the mood of the entire fanbase. But I think these fans are spot on.
The last thing we need now is another ageing centre-back. Jan Vertonghen has lost his legs and even the usually impeccable Toby Alderweireld is suffering since turning 30, although so are some of his younger teammates.
As Sky Sports details, Jose Mourinho tried to sign Boateng in his final summer at Manchester United, so it is conceivable that the World Cup winner is on his radar again.
But it is a deal I don’t think Daniel Levy will let happen, and thankfully, for a change, this time I am glad for it.
Media talk to be expected at this time of year.
The article above mentions the apparent loss of form of both Toby and Jan but seems to forget they are constantly exposed by having midfield players in front of them who are not fit for purpose.Jan is playing out of position which doesn’t help.
Get that problem sorted and I think you will see a higher level of performance and maybe we will stop leaking stupid goals.
Are we going to buy Messi?Hehehehehe
Spurs have shown an interest in, when I read these words, I Iose interest myself, same interest they show in Lionel Messi.
