According to recent reports, French club Paris Saint-Germain have held talks with Harry Kane’s representatives regarding a potential move for the Tottenham Hotspur striker.
Kane’s future at Tottenham remains uncertain with his contract set to expire next year.
Manchester United have been heavily linked with the England international, and have reportedly made him their top target.
Bayern Munich have also expressed interest in the past, with CEO Oliver Kahn publicly praising Kane and seeing him as a potential replacement for Robert Lewandowski.
Now, PSG have entered the race for Kane’s signature.
It was previously reported that the European giants have made him their priority signing.
And now, French outlet Foot Mercato has claimed that PSG’s sporting director Luis Campos met with Kane’s entourage to discuss a potential move.
However, convincing Kane to leave England could be challenging, considering his desire to break Alan Shearer’s Premier League goal-scoring record.
The 29-year-old is currently second on the all-time Premier League scoring list, with 210 goals, trailing Shearer by 50.
This suggests that if Kane were to leave Spurs this summer, he could be on his way to Manchester United.
Nevertheless, it has been reported that Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is determined not to sell Harry Kanne to a Premier League rival and even if he does, he would demand a transfer fee of at least £100 million.
The negotiations and developments surrounding Kane’s future are likely to continue as interested clubs vie for his signature, making it a summer of uncertainty for both the player and Tottenham.
