Fabio Paratici is pushing to bring Aaron Ramsey back to England for Tottenham as Juventus looks to offload the Welshman.
Ramsey was developed at Arsenal and was a crowd favourite at the home of Tottenham’s hated rivals.
Moving to Tottenham would mean he has destroyed his Arsenal legacy and there isn’t a guarantee that most Tottenham fans would want him either.
Regardless, Todofichajes claims that Paratici has already contacted Juventus in a bid to sign him.
The midfielder has had an injury-ravaged spell at Juve and the Italians are open to cutting their losses to release him.
The report adds that Wolves is another club looking to sign him, but the midfielder is unlikely to want to move to the midland outfit.
The report then insists that the presence of Paratici, who signed him for Juventus, makes Tottenham the favourites for his signature.
This is hardly a piece of inspiring transfer news and a majority of Tottenham fans would prefer that their club move for several other midfielders around Europe.
However, Ramsey has valuable Premier League experience and he also won a number of FA Cups at Arsenal before leaving them.
That experience might help Tottenham in the upcoming season.
Just missing the Professor and MaryAnn.
First, thank you Bruce for posting a seemingly endless stream of runours tying us to Serie A wantaways. But in reality I only pay attention to Fabrizio and sometimes DiMarzio as the rest of these outlets are rubbish.
Apparently he is willing to take a hit on his £400k pw wages to about half that but also they want a fee for him……….arf arf
Good shout the physios need another crock to work on now Lamela has gone.
Though I still have high hopes that Lo Celso might replace Erik on the physios bench.
Fortunately he is paid too much for us. Hence the rising panic has subsided after some rational thought.
But can he play centre-half, ‘Don’ Fabio the Hamstrung One?
Why???
No way!!!!
So we will have a team of Chelsea cast offs, Arsenal cast offs, Man Utd and Villa cast-offs, Sevilla cast offs all added to the Tottenham cast-offs which we cant cast off. Nuno and Paratici then walk out leaving Ryan Mason back in charge. Its a football comedy show.
