One word from Gareth Bale and these fans go absolutely mad

Gareth Bale is back to form, there cannot be any denying that now.

Whether he maintains his current level is open to debate and time will tell but as things stand right now, the Welsh wizard is on fire and not with just scoring goals.

Yesterday his footwork was immense, his passing was sublime and his vision as good as it has ever been.

But it was not all about Bale yesterday, almost to a man Tottenham were brilliant and that includes the much-maligned defence.

Of course, there was the odd moment that was disappointing but over the 90 minutes Tottenham was good, very good and Bale himself has acknowledged that.

He could have taken to Twitter and hailed his goals and his own performance but he did not, he simply put up one single word that epitomised everything that Spurs are about these days, “Teamwork”

We dreamed, probably unrealistically of Bale's return for years. Then it became possible and Levy made it happen, but oh what a disappointment it was. Then there was a flicker, the odd moment. Now we're living in that dream time and today Bale and Kane together, wow, just wow.
