“Obvious” Journalist hits the nail on the head identifying what Conte has to sort out

Tottenham could only earn a point from Antonio Conte’s first league game as manager at Everton today

The Italian has been brought in to steady the ship and make Spurs one of the top clubs in England again.

However, after two matches in charge, he will absolutely know his team has problems and PA Media’s Carl Markham says one of them is obvious.

The reporter watched as Spurs failed to get a shot on target in a league game yet again and said it is not hard to see which problem is stopping the club from making progress.

He Tweeted: “Three hours and 47 minutes since Tottenham last had a shot on target in the Premier League. Obvious where Antonio Conte needs to make improvements”

Harry Kane has been criticised for being in poor form for much of this season and we all are hoping that will change under Conte.

It is now clear that the Italian has a huge problem to solve, and it doesn’t seem it has a quick solution.

With the likes of Giovani Lo Celso and Tanguy Ndombele in the squad, Spurs should create and score more goals.

However, the creativity may have been killed by the negative tactics of Jose Mourinho and Nuno Espirito Santo and that means Conte has a lot of work to do to get the team to confidently create and take chances again.

What Jose and Nuno did tactically has affected the players in a negative way.

On the basis of performances for Spurs, what evidence is there that Lo Celso and Ndom should be creating and scoring goals for us? These 2 are total charlatans.
