Nicolò Schira says there’s Spurs interest in Roma’s Nicolò Zaniolo, is he any good?|video

By The Boy -

This is a curious Spurs transfer rumour for a number of reasons, primarily because the player in question is for an area of the pitch Tottenham are already oversubscribed.

Looking at Nicolò Zaniolo’s all-time heat map, the obvious current Spurs players at risk from such an acquisition would be Dele Alli and Lucas Moura.

The figure quoted by Schira is some €50million, which is nigh on €10million over the valuation by asroma360 and others.

That said, is the boy actually any good? I see ‘Erik Lamela II: But this time he’s dearer.’

It was written maybe on here about Jose maybe try to push Dele out the door. I agree he wouldn’t be missed since we got Stevie in and has regressed so bad. Also he would command a pretty good fee.

Dele not sure – you have to have a buyer and that’s the main problem. Most teams can’t afford Dele, but will the teams that can want him? I don’t think so.

The problem is is if we buy Sarr or someone similar, the money spent on them means less to spend on our weakest positions. This will mean we still go into next season with the same weakness and our team will not have improved.

If we could afford to be speculative I’d agree 💯 , but we are pinching the pennies.

Totally agree with that, but I still think we should buy Sarr from Watford if available, he could be the next Sadio Mane and is a tremendous talent in the making. I would sell Alli in a heartbeat, but what is he worth now?

If we want to improve the team, we should be investing in our weakest positions. This money should be going into a decent striker.

Zaniolo will go to Juventus. Nothing to see here.

Maybe it is not Son or Kane who could be leaving but Dele? I haven’t been impressed with him for some time and if we need funds he is the one surplus to requirements out of the 3.

Well that 5 min you tube video was great to watch, that guy has alot of tools in his locker…… Beats the 5 min youtube vids of Ndombele at Lyon watching him run into trouble and fall over constantly. Like hes on an ice rink wearing skates. How can he not stay on his feet? A comedy of errors.

If Maureen wants him then we should get him. Back the damn manager…. That Maureen ©**ts t-shirt above is amazing 😂 Really tempted to get one but worried about offending pc snowflakes.. And my grandmother.

this would be a typical Tottenham deal – you could either A) buy a player with PL experience, in a position you need for £25m (up front payment) or B) a player you dont need, for twice as much, but staged payments… Higest paid chairman in the league = B then!!
