Mourinho perhaps inadvertently highlights the difference between his mindset and Kane’s|video

Only Leicester City, Crystal Palace and the gods stand between Tottenham Hotspur and a European Tour. The first question in the pre-match presser was asking Jose if he was aware that winning at the new stadium would break the current record of 3 games on the bounce at home.

The gaffer was polite, but made it clear that all he was interested in was the points as they were the gateway to Europe. Harry Kane one suspects, reveals in hoovering up minor personal wins – anyone doubting that might care to revisit our very first game at the billion dollar arena and see how desperately important it was for him to be the first goalscorer.

When all’s said and done, nobody will remember the golden boots or the record attendances, or fastest poured pint. History remembers winners and everybody else came second.

At first he was too selfish… But now i feel just when he sorted his decision making right out (became less selfish), then half our good team has gone or diminished.

Kane is fundamentally selfish and tunnel visioned when it comes to goalscoring. He sees only the goal. It’s the attribute of a world class striker that can be frustrating at times.

There’s only so much pleasure any spurs fan could derive from Mourinho winning stuff for Chrlsea. Or that’s what I used to assume.

I don’t think he has ever won the Audi Cup!

To be fair Harry has nothing at all to show for his time at Spurs so any detail will be precious to him.
Mourinho has won it all
