“More than happy” – Fabrizio Romano provides an update on the future of Harry Kane at Spurs

By Eddie Razo -

Last summer, Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane was the subject of various transfer rumors linking him to Manchester City. However, after months of transfer talk, a move didn’t occur, which seemed to affect his start to the season.

The north London club decided to sack Nuno Espírito Santo and appoint former Inter Milan Antonio Conte to the position. The appointment of the Italian tactician seems to have given Kane a breath of fresh air, which is why perhaps he wants to see out this project.

According to transfer window specialist Fabrizio Romano, Kane’s understood to be ‘more than happy’ with Conte, which is an entirely different feeling than last June when all the rumors regarding a possible departure began to surface.

Nonetheless, despite this report, there’s no final decision on the future of Kane has been made yet. Romano adds that there are no discussions regarding a possible contract, but the north London club wants him to remain.

Qualifying for the UEFA Champions League will play a significant role in his decision to ask out or continue.

Although I’m not sure what the point of this article is as Harry himself said this weekend he’s thrilled with Conte.

When Harry met Conte things changed but if Conte’s not backed they’re both gone simple as.

My concern remains that Harry Kane would rather play in a team that has a realistic chance of winning the CL the qualifying for it…Insuppose you could call that karma..
