“Maybe Kane has some integrity” Not everyone convinced by Kane to Man City

It was inevitable that the future of Harry Kane would be back in the spotlight after Tottenham’s defeat to Man City in the Carabao Cup final yesterday.

In fact, one of the very few teams on the planet that could actually afford to sign Kane is the state-owned Citizens, however, not everyone is convinced that the England captain would join the Arab playthings.

Telegraph journalist James Ducker stuck up a tweet claiming that Kane must be desperate to follow Kyle Walker to the Etihad after he left Spurs at the same age what Kane is now.

If Northern based Ducker thought that his very arrogant tweet would be universally welcomed then he was sorely mistaken.

This is the problem with journalists based in the bubble surrounding City, they actually think that they are an admired team when the general consensus is that they are not, if anything they are despised for the way they buy success and distort the game we all love.

Below are just a few of the responses that Ducker’s tweet got, maybe next time he will reflect on his unbalanced view of City and all that they have achieved/bought.

It is also very noticeable that these responses are from football fans in general and not just Spurs.

With all due respect I know, Kane is not Morgen cause Kane is in his prime guaranteed +20 goals a season and a lot of offers are on the table so there is no point to live in hope he did that last 7seasons already what changed you think at Spurs talking about football team not buildings nothing I guess we were sacking managers as long as I remember and still we are doing 2021 we won nothing and still same and you cannot compare to Leicester basically you saying Kane has to hang around until the miracle that happened in Leicester happens in Spurs which is what once in 20-25 years come on

Did Wes Morgan expect to win the title at Leicester? You just never know.
Kane has got much better odds elsewhere but that’s the point in making. He wants to win trophies at spurs. That’s his dream.
He might well think i haven’t got that much time in football left, but for Kane to move is going to be a big upheaval. Even at City success, in all bt the league Cup, is not guaranteed.

When you think Kane will win anything with Spurs realistically? Keep in mind he is 28 years be real not emotional answer.

Francesco Totti was constantly linked with moves each summer but ended up staying at Roma for his whole career i think. They did win a league title in his time but Roma aren’t a massive side and probably a similar stature to Spurs.
Perhaps Kane will want to win trophies elsewhere , but it’s got to be more rewarding winning something at a club like Spurs.

Yes when Pep or Jose win the Premier League with West Brom, I’ll pay attention.

Football is money, Spain Barca and RM, Juve in Italy, France its PSG and in Germany it’s even more pronounced with 9 in a row for BM. Titles are about the most money, even in Salford it’s about cash

Like nearly everything on twitter this makes no sense at all. Harry himsel has said a million times that, god bless him, he loves this club and is morivated to win here. Sure, he wants to be compensated as a Top 5 world player should, and he wants to be on a competitive team, but clearly Harry is more Messi than Ronaldo. He’s not looking to ditch his wife for some Insta model, or tirelessly promote himself. He just wants to win at Spurs. He will leave when that becomes impossible, no other reason, and my fear is that this day is actually here now.

James Ducker was probably the same idiot that vilified the ESL, yet is happy for Kane to progress his career at a club that monopolized their position in the league UNFAIRLY through mega rich state backing. Lets not forget City bribed their way out of FFP. The hypocrisy from this guy is astounding!

Rodgers may well be tempted but for his own sake he needs to resist temptation. Leicester seem like a super club to work for but he is going to arrive at a stage – perhaps fairly soon – where he feels he has gone as far as he can with them and that may throw him over the edge into certifiable lunacy and taking our poisoned chalice!

Anyone else get absolutely sick of Neville and Tyler creaming their pants over every tiny touch that Phil Foden had? I get the kids talented but I think Neville could taste what Foden had for breakfast.

Same as the pundits on Sky, BT, BBC, drooling over how wonderful City and Chelsea are. Money is never mentioned. I wonder why?
