Tottenham have been praised for a lovely gesture after they promised to kit out a 3-year-old fan who is going for chemo because he dreams of becoming a Tottenham player.
The child’s father had posted on Twitter about the scheduled procedure that started yesterday and said his child had asked if he would become the first Tottenham player with cancer.
That question, he claimed, put a smile on his face and was something positive to think about.
Spurs came across the tweet and responded with their official account, promising to kit the boy out fully as a player of the club and asked his dad to send them a message to get everything set up.
That gesture was met with a positive response from Twitter users who praised the club for the class displayed through the gesture.
It remains unclear if he would be invited to the club or if they will send just the kits to him, but whatever way they choose to show love to the boy will be much appreciated.
Here are some Twitter responses:
We'll make sure he looks like a player by sending him a full kit!

We either sold, loaned out or released over 20 players last month, combined a saving of over £40m in wages, that along with the fees Levy occurred means that our transfer window was paid for by us. Not one penny came out of Lewis’ pocket again, he’s not an owner that wants success for the team, club or the fans, all he and Levy are interested in is personal financial gain, and it’s all at our expense. 20 years of them is at least 18 too many, it’s time they left so we might find an owner that wants what’s best for the club, NOT lining their own pockets. Lewis, Levy & ENIC OUT !!!
I would like to see that one of the players preferably Kane or Son to deliver this present personally. Good show of how a kind act should be. God bless you all.
