“Looks overweight” “Useless player” No love lost from these fans as one January exit is mooted

By The Boy -

The Tottenham squad is suffering from a perfect storm of so many very ‘Spursy’ issues, it is difficult to know quite where to start. We have players that have been drifting aimlessly for so long, such as Harry Winks and Dele Alli, as well as players who were drafted in to add some fresh blood, such as Matt Doherty and Tanguy Ndombele. The grim reality is, that pretty much no matter which way one looks, there are more questions than answers. Another factor, of course, is that the management of the players had been on the slide for too long. José Mourinho said publicly that Steven Bergwijn wasn’t his ‘first choice’, which was a polite way of letting us know that this was another spreadsheet signing.

Now, Mail online, amongst many, is reporting that the Dutchman could be heading back to his homeland. When successive coaches pass on a player, it is clearly time for decisive action to be taken. Situations tend not to right themselves.

Bergwijn has been a failure, and it is also time for Dele Alli to be moved on, as well. Any player that Conte doesn’t play, must be released.

Who will this race? Watching the tortoise cross the street, Malaises drip or football related news for the next 2 weeks?

Stasi Hitchen is monitoring the words gestures and body language of Paratici and Conte ..feeding info into Strangelove Software and pinging the results to the Kappelmeister….

And there was me thinking this was gonna be about NDom!

Anyway, is Stevie he overweight? Seems a bit harsh, maybe he’s just “big boned”.

Still, if we can get £20-30m for him and Gil can fill the void on the left then makes sense to ship him out.

Judging by their touchline antics they are best buds though!

Exactly not only is he still at the club but he is now Director of Technical Performance. In what other industry is failure on such a grand scale rewarded with a promotion? The jury is still out on Paratici but this muppet needs to be cleared out as well as the deadwood in the playing squad.

Despite what the insta pundits believe, the main reason for Stevie’s lack of game time has been a series of small injuries that have kept him sidelined and deprived him of his best attribute- speed. I’ll reserve judgment until he gets a run in the side, hopefully over these next few weeks.

Why is Hitchins still at the club? He doesn’t recognize talent. Record is atrocious, you’d think he’d get lucky once in a while. Bad Juju.

His choices seem to be just slightly short of the three necessary attributes skill, speed and physique. This is why no-one else wants them and why they cant cope with the EPL.

But the fella that identified and brought them in is still at the club stealing a living. Paratic needs to move Hitchins on as well.
