Tottenham also in the running for Leeds United’s unsettled Premier League Transfer Target

By The Boy -

Tottenham’s Hugo Lloris is in a rich vein of form right now, however the 33-year-old could have some healthy competition on the horizon, as Sami Mokbel for the Daily Mail believes that Spurs’ current scouting list features Aaron Ramsdale, who is currently with soon to be relegated Bournemouth.

Lloris is in the last 12 months of his deal, which is unlikely to be a prompt for Daniel Levy to move the World Cup winning Frenchman on, however, it might be a good juncture to start preparing for the inevitable.

Leeds United are understood to be interested in competition for current first-choice Kiko Casilla.

Ramsdale’s footballing CV has seen the Bournemouth ‘keeper look a little unsettled in recent seasons, with loan spells at Chesterfield and AFC Wimbledon.

Ramsden is rated by Transfermarkt as the 10th best goalie in the Premier League, probably worth in excess of £11million.

Sifting through Bournemouth goalkeeper statistics is unlikely to show the boy in the best light, given his current club’s situation, however, a move to a big club such as Leeds or Spurs would be a great step towards seeing what Aaron is capable of.

He is a top keeper,Portugese and won the Euro’s.He has only let in 3 more than Ederson,at City this season, The chart was from transfermarkt. I know Lloris is doing better recently and has won the World Cup. Probably not much in it.

It’s an estimated valuation chart.. Not sure where it’s from but it doesn’t seem entirely accurate. Its close to right at the top… But I can’t see that wolves keeper being worth more than Lloris. Hes only a year younger.

Boom.. We can rely on Gazza too he’s proved that… Centre backs and wingers and now it’s goalkeepers.. Everything we don’t need…… Full backs both sides, centre mids, and a striker is needed before strengthening elsewhere…. Unless any more are leaving of course then they will need replacing too. Our goalies are fine though.

As far as I’m concerned I hope Levy doesn’t get his grubby little hands on any European money because it’ll teach him the error of his ways – don’t invest in the team and you miss out on the euro billions. Serve him right.

The chav’s aren’t guaranteed CL football regardless,if they lose to Wolves and Man Utd & Leicester draw. They will end up fifth.

Man Utd/ Leicester and Chelsea/ Wolves are shaping up to be defining ties, the latter more so for us. Third & fourth and fifth and sixth spots are up for grabs between those sides. The Chavs are guaranteed Champs League regardless but Man Utd could miss out on Top 4 altogether if Leicester win. So, I’m going for VAR to hand it to Utd.

To be fair I think Wolves deserve a shot at Europe because of the quality football they have played throughout the season. As I’ve said before, the Thursday night money would help Spurs but only in paying off the debt because little of it will be directed back to the team. Given the lack of substantial investment in the squad, it would be better, football-wise, for Spurs to be playing domestically only. Keep the legs fresh by a week break between games and turn the NLS into a mega bingo emporium on Thursday nights.

They won’t pay for for a good goalkeeper to sit on the bench they have Gazzaniga to do that.

valuations are always miles away from the real world. I don’t expect anyone coming in to left back this window the other three are more of a priority.

I think you are right.Which would mean that Pope is valued at 11M if the charge valuations are correct. What’s not to like,GET IT DONE LEVY.
I suspect Henderson’s value has rocketed although he would be a good alternative.
Ramsdale has had a lot of practice in front of that Bournemouth defence, but one sign of a good keeper is having nothing to do then being suddenly called into action, thus testing his concentration levels.
Sadly I think neither would be prepared to wait for Hugo’s exit,so Ramsdale would probably be Jose’s choice.
However that position is not a priority for the team and hasn’t been for a while.LB,RB,CDM and backup striker are more important.

I think someone has made a c##k up,the chart above is not for the best goalkeeper,it might be their valuation.Chelsea keeper Kepa has been one of the worst in all the top European leagues this season but are you suggesting he is the fourth best.Pope who has one of the best records for clean sheets isn’t in the top ten.😂😂

He is well known for all the wrong reasons. Does anybody think that any other PL chairman sits by the phone on the final night of the transfer window so that he can haggle over some Real Madrid or PSG cast off? most, if not all the other clubs have identified their targets long before the transfer window closes, and the most professional ones have already made and announced their signings. Instead, we have discount Danny, to borrow your phrase, conducting our transfer business as if he is haggling for a bargain at Petticoat Lane. It is a laughable way to run the club. I watch enviously at the way Chelsea manage new signings, quickly, efficiently and with the modicum of fuss.

You know I think you might be right, something is wrong with him because he takes things to extremes and ignores all advice to the contrary, almost as if he feels it’s himself against the world. His perverse attitude has become known throughout the footballing world now. I mean how many names of other chairman in the PL are as well known as his? Sadly for all the wrong reasons.

Is discount Danny frightened to buy a back-up striker because of his experiences with Soldadud and Jansson? It seems that we are sweeping the fact that we are the only club in Europe with just 1 dedicated striker on our books, under the carpet.
It look like the board are more than happy to save transfer fees and wages this way, to the detriment of Kane whom I can guarantee will have an injury recurrence again this year and be out for weeks, likely months, and of course the team. Talk about pig ignorant, our board (which probably consists of Levy and the cleaning lady) seem hellbent on making life as difficult as they can for THFC in the obsessive drive to save pennies. In fact discount Danny appears to have convinced himself that due to the pandemic we are on the verge of going bust and “doing a Leeds”. I am becoming concerned about his mind lately after he tried to furlough Spurs employees without having the sense to see the repercussions of doing that, I think he has become more delusional than ever and could be in need of a psychiatrist. Nurse!

We need a new back up keeper but I can’t get excited by him. We need a back up who is going to take over from Lloris, someone like Pope of Burnley. I have just finished Jenas’s interview with Football. London in which he states that it could take up to five years for Spurs to return to their previous heights, and he highlights the mistakes that Levy had made in the transfer market. He mentions losing the dynamic down the right side by selling Walker and Trippier, and not buying the right targets like Coutinho, Dybala and Fernandes, (Bruno not Gedson!). He says , quite rightly in my view, that you have to go the extra yard to get the players that make a difference, and that is something that Levy clearly doesn’t do as he has always opted for the cheaper option, often against his manager’s wishes. I look forward to another twenty years of Levy’s utter incompetence, if I live that long.
