Latest Video Out Of Hotspur Way Does Little To Inspire Confidence

By The Boy -

It makes you wonder who is behind Tottenham’s social media content. A cynic might suggest that the club was advertising for someone a few months ago and, and that in the end, the guy that water’s Ledley King’s vegetable garden does it.

First, we had Nuno arriving like the first guest at a funeral, and now we have Sonny with a look on his face that most people sport when they are arriving for a dental appointment…

Mind you, the fun and games soon broke out when Son hooked up with the boys and began working on a new goal celebration…

I complete agree with the post and the briefing. This feels like DL is holding out for our stadium to be full every other week. Then magically all the wrongs from previous seasons will be made right and we will back on track again. I hope this is the case but I’m skeptical.

I was hoping that the hiring of Paratici would regenerate our transfer strategy and see us make decisive, key signings to help rebuild a very tired squad. However, it looks like Levy has burnt all of his bridges and just needs a new face at the negotiating table while he pulls the same strings/blags from behind the scenes.

The goal keeper from Atalanta may be amazing but this signing makes no sense. If he is that good, just buy him. If you think he might not cope with the Premier League then my first question would be “why are we looking at him?”.

This is a “hmmm not sure what’s happening with Hugo, Hart is too old and maybe we need an extra pair of hands” signing. Why are we still operating in this way? This is a January transfer window signing after you get an injury move, not a summer rebuild move. I can’t believe this keeper has been on any radar our scouts may or may not use to find players.

I’ll wait until the end of the transfer window for full judgement but the early signs do not look good.

We are in the third tier of Europe. A squad jam packed with hasbeens, never-havebeens and wantaway players with their fingers crossed that Daniel Levy will make good on their “gentleman’s agreements”.

My biggest worry is us actually getting the type of players that think signing for Tottenham would be a good thing.

I have one message to any player/mug that signs for our club. If Daniel Levy makes you a promise, don’t believe a word of it.

Not sure how the tickets and capacity are going to be effected by the latest fascistic u turn from the puppet in downing st. You can’t go to large crowd events unless you had 2 jib jabs. Paparz pleeeze!??
Contravenes Nuremberg and European court rulings. Dispicable. Another one correct for the “conspiracy theorists” of course.
What with that and the farce of “freedom day” where its really still locked down with millions who downloaded the NHS app getting told erroneously to stay home(who would voluntarily have that?) It’s going to make for unpredictable capacity’s. It’s all a mess.
Unless people resist. *Crickets

Meanwhile I believe even Arsenal have secured White and another player.

Kane stands between relegation and mid table/bottom half finish.

That’s the..’We know our place in the team is assured through complete absence of competition’ dance…..

Japanese fella(can’t believe you got told off for saying that H??) still not done and the pointless keeper is a loan?!
He’s 34. That has got to be the most useless transfer in football history.

Spot on with the Daily Briefing H. Scatter gun approach to transfers may be used by other clubs (I really don’t know) but surely we have perfected the art or is it a science? Whatever, it is frustrating and usually disappointing as we inevitably slide from allegedly targeting the expensive best players to ending up with the lesser known cheap alternative bottom feeders. This process takes forever. Am I right in understanding that, during this transfer window, our near neighbours have got rid of 15 players and bought in 2 already? What exactly have we achieved?

Harry, come on now, you know you don’t need to go down the same route as all those other inferior sites.
End of June in an interview SHM said, “right now, Tottenham is my dream team & I just want to focus on that.” Then 2/3 days ago, most sites were reporting he’s agreed new contract?
Now he’s ‘broken’ & ‘looks so sad’ (according to some on other sites) on his return??

I honestly believe our social media platforms are run by a bunch of interns. At a time when fan sentiment is at an all time low with the club, the social media team are posting things like ‘on this day 2 years ago we signed Tanguy Ndombele’, ‘on this day 8 years ago we signed Jan Vertonghen. Perhaps if the club communicated worthwhile info with the fans there would be less of a backlash to these pointless posts.

Jaysis. The guy is casually entering his place of work after being away on holiday. Looks chilled and friendly, ready to join in again… like you do after a good break from work.

Perhaps they should perfect the ability to score more frequent goals before they work on a new goal celebration? I also think they should invent an even bigger celebration for being able to keep a clean sheet during a match.
