Tottenham Hotspur are looking to sell fullback Sergio Reguilon as he does not fit into Ange Postecoglou’s plans.
The Spanish left back is going through a tough time in his career after a disappointing loan spell at Atletico Madrid.
He failed to impress the Spanish club where he was unlucky with injuries and could not earn the trust of Diego Simeone. The fans also turned on him in particular due to his Real Madrid past.
The report by El Confidencial claim that new Spurs manager Ange Postecoglou ‘does not trust him’ .
He has a contract with the club till 2025 but Spurs want to sell him.
He joined Spurs from Madrid for €30m and enjoyed a decent first season. But since then his career has gone down the hill.
He has not been able to impress any of the previous managers at Spurs including Conte and Mourinho.
The report claims that the 26-year-old is hoping that a move to another club in La Liga would help relaunch his career.
It adds that Osasuna is one of the clubs that are interested in him.
In 67 appearances for Spurs, he has scored 2 and assisted 9 goals.
Tottenham have now transfer listed the player and will hope to cash in on him for a decent fee.
It is a sad end to his Spurs career who came in with high expectations and after his first season at the club, fans were left excited.
They will have Destiny Udogie as an option for the left back role in the upcoming season as well as Ryan Sessegnon but it remains to be seen what plans Postecoglou has for the position.
