According The Athletic journalist David Ornstein, Bayern Munich CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen met Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy in London on Thursday morning.

The meeting was regarding the sale of Harry Kane, although he claims that no fresh offer has been made and nor has Levy given him a price.

What is worth noting is that as per Ornstein, the two clubs remain on good terms despite earlier reports suggesting that Levy was furious at the German club for poaching the player.

He tweeted:

“Bayern Munich CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen met Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy over breakfast in London to discuss Harry Kane. No fresh offer made, no price given. Clubs on good terms. Kane travels with Tottenham for pre-season tomorrow.”

Bayern have had two bids rejected for the England striker so far, the latest being worth £70m plus add-ons. They are expected to come back with an improved third bid.

PSG have also seriously entered the fact as per the report by French outlet RMC Sport yesterday, they can easily outbid Bayern and are willing to offer Spurs €100m.

The report claims that they will do “everything possible” to sign him.

However, what works in Bayern’s favour is the player’s desire to join the Bundesliga giants after being reportedly convinced by the club and Thomas Tuchel himself.

As of now, Bayern looks like the most likely destination for Kane if he leaves and today’s meeting between the two club officials could be considered as a sign that a deal could be made soon.
