According to the latest report from French outlet RMC Sport, PSG have entered the race to sign Tottenham talisman.
The Harry Kane saga has been one of the talking points of this summer’s transfer window and the Ligue 1 giants have just made it even more interesting.
According to the report, PSG will ‘do everything possible’ to lure Harry Kane.
The report claims that the French club have made signing a striker an ‘absolute priority’.
PSG officials were in London last week to discuss the move with Tottenham as well as Kane’s entourage.
The report also reveals that PSG first got in touch with him several weeks ago but could not come to an agreement. A new ‘meeting is scheduled for this week’ .
While PSG will once again try to convince Kane, the report claims that his priority now is Bayern Munich who are yet to come to an agreement with Tottenham.
They have had two rejects already, of £60m and £70+ respectively. However, they have reportedly convinced Kane to join them.
They are now said to be preparing a third bid with the hope that Kane will push for the move in order to put pressure on Levy to agree a deal.
That being said, the strong interest from PSG can now work in Tottenham’s favour.
It’s reported that PSG can easily outbid Bayern Munich and are prepared to offer €100m, an offer that is ‘capable of satisfying Spurs’.
A bid can be expected after PSG’s meeting with Kane’s representatives this week.
Bayern may not have a chance to compete with PSG financially but Kane’s desire to join Bayern for now could go in the German club’s advantage.
