Kane set for huge financial windfall if he leaves Spurs in the summer

By Bruce Grove -

Harry Kane could finally leave Tottenham after telling the Lilywhites that he wants out in the summer.

The England captain has been arguably Spurs’ best player in the last decade and has continued to deliver fine performances on an individual level.

He has hit the prime of his career and has been in solid goal-scoring form, yet he has been unable to win trophies with Spurs.

With the risk of him ending his career without a trophy staring him in the face, he is now set to leave.

His decision will spark a bidding war among top European teams and Spurs intends to make good money from his sale.

The Lilywhites want around £150m for his signature and Sun Sports reveals that he is also set to earn a lot of money from leaving.

Manchester City, Manchester United and Chelsea are three teams keen on signing him with the first two reported to be the most serious contenders.

The report says Kane is in line to make around £80million in wages from his next move.

Both Premier League giants are prepared to pay him £300,000-a-week basic salary, which would represent an immediate jump from his current earnings.

He would then earn significantly from goals scored and other performance-related on-field successes.

Yes those clubs mentioned could raise his salary by 50%,but I think Harry would move there for the same money. It’s all about trophies now at this stage of his career.

He’s done his penance staying at Spurs falling for Levy’s constant lies and promises of jam tomorrow. He deserves much more and i don’t think there is a Spurs fan around who would deprive him of that or think any less of him.

Wages are just a part of the equation. If Harry wins trophies at Man City then the Kane brand will be printing money.

Anyway back on topic.
Not a massive leap is it. I’m sure Levy would match the £300k pw if he agreed to stay.
It really is all about getting the PL title for Harry.

Harry Kane is relatively well paid Spurs, with a big transfer fee involved I can’t see any massive uplift in wages.

Perhaps there is a willingness to make it look like the player being greedy and is moving to money. Kane cannot challenge for major honours with Spurs because our owners cannot run a p*ss up in a brewery when it comes to a competitive football strategy.

They are obsessed with balance sheets and never speculate to accumulate over time. It’s all about this small minded, deal by deal mindset and refusal to get the right players because they don’t fit the ‘profile’ financially. Whatever the f*ck that is exactly!

Kane isn’t being financially greedy, he wants to win stuff, stop lying… Are you on the ENIC payroll too ‘Bruce Grove’?
