Tottenham has been linked with a move for Paulo Dybala in the past, and the latest development on his future might be good news for them.
The Lilywhites were keen to sign the Argentinean under the management of Mauricio Pochettino, but they couldn’t achieve that.
He was indispensable then, and he still is, but at the end of this season, he will enter the final year of his current deal.
Juventus has been trying to tie him down to a new contract, but they have been unable to do that and Sky Sports Italia via Tuttojuve says that they will make one last attempt to keep him and if he refuses their contract offer, they will sell him.
Dybala is currently one of the club’s highest-paid players at around 7m euros per season and the Old Lady have made an offer of 10m euros for him to stay with them until 2025.
This offer isn’t what the attacker wants, but the report says that Juventus has no plans to offer him a better deal at this time.
This has opened the door for Tottenham to get one of the most talented players on the planet.
Baller. Not a bad keeper either apparently
Great player. His girlfriend loves London apparently. Fingers crossed but not raising my hopes
Leandro Damião all over again.
One memorable goal in our victory against Newcastle Utd I saw at WHL was his jinking run from the half way line bypassing Bobby Moncur, rounding keeper Ian McFaul and coolly slotting home!! Sensational.
In fact IMO he probably deserved a Knighthood!
About time too, many congratulations to one of Spurs all time greats

The problem Spurs faced was that Dybala had sold his image rights to make money from his “personal likeness” to a company based in Malta and owned by his former agent, Pierpaolo Triulzi. Tottenham would have wanted to use Dybala’s image to sell merchandise, making money on their investment in him.
Tottenham began negotiating for Dybala soon after breaking their club-record transfer fee to sign the France international Tanguy Ndombele from Lyon for an initial £55.4m. They initially faced competition from Manchester United, who wanted to exchange the disgruntled Romelu Lukaku for the Argentine, only for the complicated swap deal to quickly break down. United also considered matching Juventus Sporting Director Fabio Paratici’s asking price, but found Dybala’s £350k-per-week wage demands prohibitive.

As HH will concur I compiled a lengthy list on this blog linking us to 55 players one summer yep Dyabalas name featured on said list at the same time as Eziquiel Ponce probably dates back 3 years ago or longer. Just like ISCO, just like ASENSIO we can dream but it ain’t going to happen unless Harry Kane is part of the deal!! Next ….
Yes please, try again only try harder this time.
