Juventus star dreams of the Premier League and talks about his admiration for Mourinho

By Bruce Grove -

Sami Khedira is one of the most recognisable players in football and the Juventus midfielder probably still has something to offer.

He has been frozen out of the Juventus first team for this campaign after the club failed to offload him or to get him to terminate his contract with them.

He has enjoyed trophy-laden spells at Real Madrid and Juventus, but he spoke to Sky Sports recently and he revealed that he always dreamt of playing in the Premier League.

He also went on to reveal his admiration for Tottenham manager, Jose Mourinho.

He claimed that the Portuguese boss was the best manager that he has played for, revealing that he loved the manager because of his candid nature and the fact that he is a winner who simply knows how to win.

Asked why he held the Tottenham boss in such regard, Khedira said to Sky Sports: “Because of his personality, He is always honest, direct, clear in his mind and a great coach.

“Many people talk about him [being] too defensive but he is a winner, he is a champion. That is why he impressed me the most.”

It appears that Khedira is flirting with the idea of a move to the Premier League, maybe with Tottenham, do you think the 33-year-old would be worth signing?

2018/19 -10 games ,2019/20 -12 games ,2020/21 -0 games, He used to be a top player, but time & injuries have caught up on him he will be 34 in April and has had heart issues. If we are to go to the next level its first team Juventus players we should be after not their cast offs who will say all the right things to get a final pay day. On £5m euros a year Juventus want him off their wage bill.
