Jose Admits Top Four Could Be Out Of Reach | Video

Jose Mourinho has conceded that a fifth-place finish is now Tottenham’s best chance of qualifying for the Champions League next season.

Losing two points to Chelsea over the first Premier League weekend back leaves us nine points adrift of the top four, but we’re only four behind Manchester United in fifth and that could be enough if Manchester City’s European ban is upheld.

This is what the Portuguese said at his pre-match press conference today ahead of Tuesday’s London derby with West Ham.

Fifth is of course more achievable but I’d say we’re even the underdogs for that. United and Wolves have got themselves figured out a lot more than we do. We need to win our next two games to stay in the hunt.
