Japhet Tanganga Analysis

By The Boy -

A baptism of fire for Japhet Tanganga, but one that the 20-year-old from Hackney more than survived.

So let’s spin through the key disciplines to see what stats lay beneath what was a great performance!

Passing accuracy

A successful pass completion rate of 80.6% puts Japhet straight into my good books. If you can’t be relied upon to pass you players on your own side, there’s little else to be discussed.

Just to add here, 0/0 passes in the attacking third. Call me old fashioned, but I like my defenders to defend and Japhet did this steadfastly, against some really rather tough opponents.

Ball recoveries

Recovered the ball on 7 occasions – which for context – put him on par with Toby Alderweireld.

Defensive clearances

100% success rate with defensive clearances: 8/8.

Headed clearances

100% again, this time with headed clearances.

All in all, this guy is an absolute find.

More, please.

Arsene Wenger and the IFAB are now actively trying to get this VAR corrupt system sorted out by demanding reform of rules and video screens for fans etc.

To who? The police? The Mainstream media? To be tried in “the justice system” ?? Hahaha. You know better than that chief. Just go and have a look at the site. It’s all there.

I rarely get on Prem football so none of the VAR matches in question have been to do with my betting.

Unfortunately Mike Riley and his band of corrupt men are making far too much for themselves and their masters.

Only 4 player here on contracts. Any good player gets snapped up. Tom can’t win. Tom poos himself every window. Tom won’t try stop a player from leaving for a bigger club. Same size club he’ll do his best to keep them

Just got a message from Haringey fc manager Tom. Coby Rowe our center back/captain has just signed for suttun United. Toms gutted. Said it’s like losing Ledley king. He will be missed. No tangangas coming through. Good luck Coby son. Nice young man.

Poch must really have run them into the ground at the start of the season or perhaps it means that we are not in a physical condition to compete with Top 6 teams but can cope with the dross.

Another weekend, another VAR ****storm. Any self-respecting, self regulating industry would declare this season null and void due to the erratic and nonsensical decisions being handed down by VAR. If there was any shred of integrity, the plug needs to be pulled now. This is descending into pure farce and the cynical among us are probably thinking that all that money getting pumped into football is the reason that this season will not be voided. It is tantamount to organised match-fixing by the league owners rather than organised crime. But we all know that the scousers won’t care so long as they are crowned champions. To be honest the “”triumph” of winning under these conditions would be on par with Celtic winning the SPL year in, year out.

The physical condition of our players is shocking, Mourinho admitted as much when asked why he didn’t attack earlier in the game especially as Spurs really improved when Lamela and Lo Celso came on. He said they couldn’t have sustained an attacking style from the start of the game, the players simply couldn’t do it. Not in a tactical sense but physically. Our sports science department needs a radical shake up, as well as our medical dept.

We have to take into account the overwhelming financial advantage he enjoyed through the era when he was most successful. It was also a time before klopp and pep and all these other new coaches playing dynamic, hi-intensity football.

Nice positive piece Harry after a disappointing result. Sick of people now turning on Jose. He has been here for short time the problems have been here for ages. I guess we will only see if he can make the difference next season which possibly will be without any European football. But as they say that is life. I for one would rather us win a trophy than consider 4th every season a trophy. Hopefully FA cup this season if not guess we will have to wait, hopefully only one more season with one of the most successful managers of the present era in charge. COYS
