Michael Owen has joined the growing list of people who think that Tottenham can win the Premier League this season.
Spurs have had a solid start to this campaign and they are currently top of the Premier League table on goal difference.
The Lilywhites have started this campaign in a way that makes them the team to beat, but they are not so far ahead of the other title contenders.
This season has seen several teams sit top of the standings, some of them for just hours, and it might become the most unpredictable season of them all.
Spurs will be in the race till the end no matter what, reckons Owen.
He admitted that this season has been a strange one which could go any way, but he named Tottenham, Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester City as the teams that can win the title when this season eventually finishes.
Owen told BT Sport as quoted by Football365: “If ever there was a season where you think a team could win it who you didn’t fancy at the start, it’s this one. It’s wide open right now.
“But I still narrow it down to four teams: Liverpool, Man City, Chelsea and Tottenham. Chelsea has a great shout.”
