Tottenham have been joined by Torino in the race for Joshua King, Sun Sports claims.
King has entered the final year of his current deal at Bournemouth and the Norwegian will be allowed to leave the Vitality Stadium for £10m.
He has scored 50 goals for the Cherries and has been a subject of interest from Manchester United before now.
Spurs need to sign a new striker before this transfer window closes as they look to reduce the goalscoring burden on Harry Kane.
King has emerged as a top target for Jose Mourinho and for that price, he will be one of the cheapest available players that Spurs can land.
Arkadiusz Milik and Haris Seferovic are two other strikers that Spurs are considering a move for.
Milik isn’t so keen on becoming a backup striker at another team while Seferovic still has four years to run on his current deal at Benfica and he might cost much more than King.
Despite landing Gareth Bale who can score goals, Mourinho is keen to have another striker and the recent injury to Son Heung-Min has made it even more important.
Spurs have just beaten Chelsea to reach the next round of the Carabao cup, increasing the number of matches that they will have to play this season.
Even a loan offer
Out of his last 50 matches, he has played the no 9 role in 45 of them. He has also been offered to Man Utd as a centre forward. There is always Cavani as a possibility.
No he’s more of a wide attacker like Son (but obviously a downgrade), though I believe he can play up front he’s not really ideal. I’d prefer a dedicated target man as Bergwijn can cover Son.
I don’t follow anything but T H F C closely but reading about players we are linked with tells me he is not an out & out striker
