Amid transfer speculation linking him with Tottenham and Liverpool, Lille striker Victor Osimhen has reportedly been given a £94m valuation.
The 21-year-old has enjoyed a stellar campaign thus far, scoring 18 goals and providing six assists in 38 appearances for the Ligue 1 outfit.
With Spurs lacking quality depth in attack behind talisman Harry Kane, an issue that has become more prominent following his injury which has coincided with blows for Heung Min-Son and now Steven Bergwijn, a striker in the summer could be a priority.
As reported by Le10Sport, and re-reported by the Express, if they consider Osimhen the ideal solution to that problem then they’ll have to dig deep into their pockets as he’s been given a £94million price-tag by Lille.
Given his lack of experience and track record of producing at the top level on a consistent basis, it’s difficult seeing any club pay that kind of money for him, let alone either Tottenham or Liverpool.
In turn, it remains to be seen if that forces Mourinho and Spurs to look elsewhere for a reinforcement in that department, with competition and cover for Kane arguably a crucial priority ahead of next season.
The 26-year-old scored 17 goals in 25 games prior to his injury setback, with Mourinho’s side struggling in his absence to compete across multiple fronts.
