Wycombe manager, Gareth Ainsworth has hailed Jose Mourinho for being in a class of his own and that scares people.
Mourinho has divided opinions throughout his managerial career, and the Portuguese is one of the most outspoken managers around.
He has a way of doing everything that seems different from the norm, including how he manages his players, how he sets his team up, and how he criticises his poor performers.
Ainsworth says Mourinho isn’t a normal manager and not many people are comfortable with that, but he understands the Special One.
He hailed the former Chelsea boss for being a winner who always wins things, saying that is the reason he admires him.
“Jose Mourinho is a winner, he wants to win trophies,” said Ainsworth in a press conference via YouTube.
“I am a massive fan of him because he’s a winner. He wins things.
“He wins titles in various countries. He wins cups and that’s what football management is all about. But I think he’s different. I can relate to that slightly.
“I think Mourinho is different and that scares people. People want the norm.”
Spurs have reached the final of the Carabao Cup, and they are still in the race to win the Europa League, FA Cup and Premier League.
They will want to keep their FA Cup dream alive after the game against the Wanderers. It will be interesting to see if this will affect Mourinho’s selection.
