“I think Conte has some ideas” Journalist tips Conte to raid his former club

By Bruce Grove -

It would hardly surprise Tottenham fans if more players move from the Italian Serie A to Spurs in the next few transfer windows.

This is because the appointment of Antonio Conte as their latest manager and his combination with Fabio Paratici means Spurs have people who are experts at the Italian game in charge of their football matters.

Conte has now been tipped to raid his former club, Inter Milan, for a few players, but it won’t be easy.

The Italian journalist, Fabrizio Biasin spoke about the Tottenham manager and says he expects the ex Chelsea boss to try to sign some of his former players, but only one would be easy for Spurs to land.

He told CM.IT TV as posted by Calciomercato.it on Twitter:

“I think Conte has some ideas about some Inter players.

“However, Tottenham are a club in debt. The only possibility is Brozovic on expiry, but the others are not leaving.”

The Boy Hotspur say

Conte would likely be given more freedom to choose his transfer targets than Nuno Espirito Santo was given, and we should expect him to bring in some of his former players.

Brozovic would be a good signing for Spurs, but Conte might not target only Inter Milan stars.

The former Chelsea boss already had some players he wanted to add to his Inter squad before he left the club.

He could attempt to sign them for Spurs as well.

However, he will know that Spurs does have some fine players in their squad and they have been underachieving.

It would be interesting to see what he can achieve with the current group before he adds new stars to it.
