Its rather a deep system that chops and changes. Yes very much from the abyss, not as bad as DeGea or if you remember Fabian Barthez sudden drop from grace… But Lloris had a worrying slump in form. Then was caught drink driving and he wasn’t just a bit over, paralytic and he lost his license. There were horrendous clangers. There were many fans calling for his head, including some on here (and including H if I remember right)… For your knowledge I wasn’t one of these, I always said he’s got years left in him, I love the man and am very happy he’s pulled it back from being in the bottom 8th of the league back up to the top 3 after his injury. He may be sitting at number two now……. I never said Tanguy was toast either. When he arrived he excited me, I thought we had bought Yaya Toure plus one. We were told we got a bargain and the signing of the season. He flopped. On Kanes and Salahs wages his first season he was a massive disappointment. Those two games where he couldnt run summed him up.. So after the first season we realised we got a lad with bags of ability and potential, but his mental application was seriously in question.. He didnt manage 90 minutes in ten and a half months.. Mourinho was questioning his mentality.. So was I.. Yes mate, I was worried for him after that. It looked nasty. Good medical treatment. The time out for him was a blessing for sure he’s sorted it right out.

No doubt Hugo was gonna improve after that horrible Toni Jimenez left. Nuno Santos doing good work and is really well liked. All Jose’s team are actually. Oh and Joe Hart, they love him like cooked food in there. All the age groups

Hugos definitely pulled himself back from the abyss. There was a time when a few were calling for Gazzanigga to replace him, and he was out drink driving and throwing up over officers 😆 See mate even Frances world cup winning captain can slip from that mature and responsible role.. Hugos up there with the best i’ve seen at stopping goals… Good to see Kane and Bale rested for those friendlies too… Thats Maureens doing, putting pressure on Wales specifically he let everyone know their fitness coachs are also Arsenals. Hugo is a brilliant keeper. He’s in great form this season.
Lloris,LoCelso,Winks and Reguilon all getting rave reviews during the international break can only be a good thing for their confidence and for Spurs this season.Since Jose took over Hugo has been one of Spurs most consistent players.
