It is safe to say that Arsene Wenger is not the greatest Tottenham fan, in fact, Spurs may well be the club he dislikes the most, though Man Utd probably come into the equation somewhat.
Wenger has never been one to speak fondly of anything Tottenham related and who can blame him, he is after all an Arsenal legend.
Therefore, when Wenger gives a positive opinion of anything Tottenham related then it is worth taking notice, simply because one would not expect the Frenchman to speak too highly of his former clubs most bitter rivals.
Now, one of the most speculated potential summer transfers is that of Harry Kane, to some, the England captain needs to leave Tottenham in order to win something.
It seems that Wenger is not one of those former professionals in the game that now make a living as a pundit and love giving their opinion regardless of reality or context.
Wenger has now given his view on what Kane should do and it may come as a surprise to some, it certainly provoked a response, including from a few Spurs fans.
Honestly he’s just talking sense and being unbiased unlike 99% of pundits. We are in a position to be ambitious but will we? Probably not

How is the former manager of our biggest rivals more fair and balanced than @SkySportsPL ? 😂

Now this is what someone who was successfull in management would say about Spurs, not the clueless pundits who got sacked from valencia, oldham etc…

Wenger sees just how much potential the club has, it’s a shame Joe Lewis doesn’t

Lol Wenger speaking more positively about Spurs then our pundits in the media. JJ and Jamie Redknapp ready to drive Kane to Man Utd.

We have always been in a position to be ambitious but the owners and Levy always let us down

Wenger showing us more respect than Sky, BT and ITV.

Fed up with saying this , Spurs have the potential to have periods of dominance. If City,s or Chelseas owners owned us & vice versa , obvious maybe but look where those 2 were before their takeovers. No hope of anything. Poch had us runners up in the biggest 2 comps without backing. Imagine if we had the backing & judgement in the market
Auntie Arsene, the man who wants throw ins abolished, to be replaced with ‘kick ins’.
