Joe Rodon is beginning to look like a player with an emerging future at Tottenham Hotspur. This game was a good indicator as the Czechs are no fools and Rodon was asked some pretty tough questions. Joe’s total successful action hit 65%, which is less than his current mean average, but respectable against the opposition.

What particularly stood out was Joe’s tackling – which is dead handy for a defender. Out of 27 challenges made in his 94-minutes for Wales, only 8 were unsuccessful.
More, please.

That block was lovely.
Well there is no way he was a Mourinho choice to sign, I would not be surprised the opinions of Gareth Bale and Ben Davies did not go unnoticed in the signing of Joe Rodon.
They chucked Guy Butters in at 19….so this lad should be grand….
Didn’t realize he was 23!? Thought he was a couple years younger. Really should be starting.
Toby is the perfect player to learn alongside. I said they should be the pair at CB while ago. He would develop nicely in there.
If we continue with signing younger players like this, we need a different coach.
I can’t see the point of leaving him out, could play a back 3 with him, Toby and Sanchez or just him and one other, either way he should be getting games.
Some of us already knew this, and will only get better if Mourinho doesn’t play with his mind.
Joe was a beast yesterday. He also put in a goal-saving block at the death and looked very assured overall.
